Internationally acclaimed chamber orchestra London Concertante will perform in Exeter Cathedral on Friday 5th September at 7.30pm, offering an atmospheric candlelit concert of classical favourites.

Artist Mark Ware explores 900 years of cathedral history

On 2, 3 and 4 October, Exeter Cathedral will be the setting for a multimedia response to the building's 900 year history and the contributions that craftspeople have made during that time.

900 Years of Light is the culmination of Cathedra 900, an Arts Council England funded project by artist Mark Ware. The ASK Italian Grand Tour came to Exeter last night. The programme, pioneered by the national Italian restaurant chain last October, consists of a series of fundraising events in order to raise £250,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Unexpected festival comes to a close this Sunday with an acrobatic performance from Extraordinary Bodies.

Extraordinary Bodies are eight artists and athletes from Diverse City and Cirque Bijou making their premiere on Exeter cathedral green this Sunday.

The show called Weighting will feature a host of incredible circus performance as well as live music from the Unexpected choir.

The Unexpected choir is a 100 strong intergrated choir of Exeter based performers from The Deaf Academy, The Big Noise Chorus, Newtown Community Choir and Magic Carpet Choir.
