Bellacappella Presents: The Bellacappella Songbook - A Gala Night of Music and Community

Local choir Bellacappella invites you to an unforgettable evening of live harmony at Winslade Park, as they present The Bellacappella Songbook, a special gala performance in aid of the national charity Music for All.

Doors open at 7pm, with the performance beginning at 7.30pm. Audiences can expect a joyful, diverse mix of songs - from pop classics to soulful ballads - all performed with the warmth and spirit that define this community choir.

As part of the fantastic Exeter Phoenix autumn programme, Robin Ince came to visit.

The auditorium was packed, so it's a good thing the Phoenix staff came up trumps to offer an alternative solution when Ince's laptop died. As a fan of stand-up, I found it unusual that a laptop was a necessary part of the show, but Ince makes it so and does a marvellous job of using a slide show as a visual prop to his verbal material.

Exeter’s Bike Shed Theatre has been shortlisted as one of the UK’s most welcoming theatres in a national competition. More than 225 theatres were put forward for the award before being narrowed down to a shortlist of seven theatres by a public vote. Oxjam Exeter has announced some of the venues that will together host up to 120 live music acts during the Oxjam Exeter Takeover weekend, taking place on 19 and 20 October 2013.
