A group of conservation volunteers have teamed up with a local choir to raise funds for a planned new Jurassic Coast visitor centre.

Volunteers from Devon Wildlife Trust’s East Devon Local Group have come together with the musical talents of Axe Valley Community Choir to stage ‘A Midsummer Concert’ on Saturday 14 June, 7.30pm, at Offwell Village Hall, near Honiton. Velveteen Clothes Emporium, which previously specialised in steampunk and gothic fashion, is back as an Exeter store, with even more to offer than before.

Up until Saturday 5 April fans of Velveteen would have to pay a visit to the businesses’ big Red wagon to make a purchase, which would pop up in various Devon locations.
