Exeter Northcott Theatre has revealed they will stage the world premiere of ' Daphne ' by South-West writer, Rosie Race.

WORDS and music inspired by visits to the ancient Beer Quarry Caves are to be performed by children and young people from across the region at a special concert in Exeter Cathedral in the New Year.

A workplace choir from a leading local law firm has performed its first concert to a packed audience of colleagues, family and clients. The Rolling Scowns – a 24 piece choir from law firm Stephens Scown LLP in Exeter – performed a selection of 11 songs at a concert held at St Stephens Church, Exeter. Knit yourself a merry little Christmas at Arlington Court

A colourful giant knitted Christmas tree has graced the main staircase hall of Arlington Court in Devon.

Complete with Knitted baubles & presents it was originally knitted in 2005 to raise money for charity, the tree contains the work of over 1000 volunteers from across the world who helped to knit it. Four of Swords terrified sell-out audiences with its version of Christopher Marlowe's classic play Doctor Faustus, performed at Exeter's 900 year old St Nicholas Priory for Hallowe’en 2014.

Exeter Cathedral is the stunning backdrop to Exeter College's Festival of Carols being held on Friday December 5th in aid of the college's charity of the year, YoungMinds. The free event, open to the public, will open its doors from 6.30pm to anyone wishing to join the college's staff, students and family members to celebrate the festive season, with the event starting at 7.30pm. Donations collected at the end of the evening will go towards the college's annual fundraising for their chosen charity.

Festive delights at Teign Valley Victorian Market

The annual Victorian Christmas Market returns to the Teign Valley on Saturday (Nov 29) with a host of festive goodies and entertainment.

Stallholders, dressed in traditional Victorian garb, will be offering an array of produce, crafts and gifts at the event, which runs from 10am to 3pm at the Teign Valley Community Hall in Christow.

Entry is free, and there is also a complimentary mince pie and glass of mulled wine on arrival.
