On Saturday 12th March, Musicroom Exeter will be celebrating national Learn to Play Day by opening its doors and offering free musical workshops.

The popular International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition, now in its ninth year, will be at Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) from 23 April 2016.

The winning photograph from each of nine categories from the 2016 competition, along with a wide selection of finalists, will be included in the exhibition at RAMM. ROC Active Exeter take an Avocet amble

As part of promoting “Avocet Ambles”, self-guided walks from the Avocet Line, the Exeter – Exmouth branch line, the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership recently took members of the ROC Active walking group for a day trip, travelling from Exeter St Thomas station to Topsham for a leisurely walk and lunch.

Top storytellers come to Topsham

Daisi secures funds for performance piece on the life of Lise Meitner

Arts in Education charity Daisi has secured £1500 in funding from the Institute of Physics (IOP) through its Public Engagement Grant Scheme, to run performances detailing the life and work of 20th century female physicist Lise Meitner.

This year, there were over fifty applications submitted to the IOP for the Public Engagement Grant Scheme. Nine projects were successful in securing funding from the IOP, and over £14,000 was awarded in total.
