Goody bags, Easter eggs and family fun at Exeter Racecourse

Families can look forward to a fun-packed Easter Raceday at Exeter Racecourse this Tuesday (April 7), with free goody bags, Easter eggs and a host of children’s activities on offer.

Young racegoers will be invited to take part in a racecourse-wide Easter trail, hunting for coloured eggs and earning a free Easter egg upon completing their sheet. Goody bags will also be handed out on entry, subject to availability, making it one of the best-value days out of the Easter holidays.

Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir (BSMVC) will support Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) in celebration of their 25th year of service with a gala concert at Exeter Cathedral this summer. The concert, at 7:30pm on Saturday 5th August, will feature BSMVC, directed by Michael Graham, performing a mixture of popular and traditional songs from their wide repertoire, set to entertain a broad audience. In response to Britain voting to leave the European Union and the ambiguous times we live in, a new musical ritual ‘Invoking 50 Articles’, is going to have eight South West performances this June and July. Originally performed in April at the Torbay Doorstep Theatre Festival and Totnes’s ‘Party In The Town’, it had such positive responses that it is now being taken on the road.
