From the opening notes of the community choral day to the uplifting finale of the London African Gospel Choir, Budleigh Music Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in style.

Artistic and Executive Director of Exeter Northcott Theatre Paul Jepson has announced a major new revival of Schiller’s Don Carlos with Tom Burke leading the company as Rodrigo, Marquis of Posa. Gadi Roll’s production is presented in a co-production with Nuffield Southampton Theatres and Rose Theatre Kingston.

The production is the centrepiece of the Exeter Northcott’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The production opens in Exeter on 16 October, with previews from 11 October and runs until 20 October 2018 ahead of performances in Southampton and Kingston. The production reunites...

On Friday 3rd November the UK’s biggest club brand came to Exeter when Sandy Park hosted its first Ministry of Sound club night with over 900 revellers in attendance.

Ministry of Sound brought two of their house DJs, Matt May and Andy Purnell, and their state-of-the-art sound and light systems for a ‘Club Classics’ night with the biggest dancefloor fillers – from 70s disco to 90s dance through to today’s chart hits.

A musical gala not to be missed

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s (November 18) Classics Galore! concert at the University of Exeter Great Hall.
