Your guide to What's On in and around Exeter this weekend (4-6 January):


Robin Hood

The Exeter Little Theatre Company Panto!  Head to Sherwood Forest and meet Robin and his Merry Men, outlaws robbing the rich and always landing themselves in trouble because of their terrible plans. Trying to keep them in line are Maid Marian and her Girlpower Gang, but the girls will have their work cut out for them unless both groups learn to work together to take on Nottingham’s meanest Snotty Notty and Sir Guy.  

Jack and the Beanstalk

Get ready for the climb of your life this Christmas, as Exeter Northcott Theatre presents a GIANT of a family pantomime. Expect plenty of audience participation, live music and laughs galore.  Fee Fi Fo Fum…it’s panto fun for everyone!  

Sleeping Beauty

Everyone likes a lie-in, but Sleeping Beauty takes it to a whole new level. Cursed by an evil fairy she is doomed to slumber forever until she is awoken by true love’s kiss!


Stella Maris Trio: Queens in Baroque Opera
Saturday, St Nicholas Priory, The Mint, off Fore Street, Exeter
Arias, duets and piano masterpieces by G F Handel, C Moneverdi, J A Hasse, G Giacomelli and many more performed by the Stella Maris Trio in the wonderfully atmospheric historic setting of St Nicholas Priory. Mezzo Soprano : Iryna Ifnytska. Soprano : Victoria Armillotta. Sam baker : Piano. Tickets £10 on the door.  Performance commences at 5pm.

Around the Wall: Bend it Like Bethlehem
Saturday, 4.30pm, Exeter Phoenix
The Easton Cowgirls present an evening of Women’s Football in Palestine in Association with Devon Development Education. The evening will consist of two films and a question and answer session with two of the Cowgirls featured in the film. This will be followed by a screening of the film from the 2015 tour. Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers.

Dolls House & Miniature Fair
Sunday, Westpoint, Exeter
