Wonder Fields announces wonder-ful line-up for 2019 festival

Wonder Fields, the biggest and best party in Devon has announced the first wave of their jam-packed line-up of live music, with their fifth festival taking place from 12 – 14th July 2019 within the beautiful grounds of Great Fulford.

Organised by brother and sister Alice and Nick de Haan, whose childhood was spent in the Devonshire countryside, Wonder Fields is a magical mix of party vibes, family fun, hilarious escapades and outdoor activities.

Drawing 3,500 people to the grounds of Great Fulford for three its days of festival fun, this first wave of acts features the likes of Foreign Beggars, Neville Staple Band, Kenny Ken, Laid Black & DJ Vadim and promises to be a party you won’t want to miss.

Taking to The Village Green Stage are UK hip-hop and dub-step outfit Foreign Beggars and ska royalty The Neville Staple Band – fronted by former member of The Specials Neville Eugenton Staple. 

Bristol hip-hop heavyweights DJ Bunky & MC Joe Peng – aka Laid Blak – will also feature, as will Plymouth six-piece Land of the Giants, Bristol acoustic duo Circes Diner, Exeter singer songwriter Sadie Horler & bouncy brass brand MonkeyFist.

Over at the Enchanted Forest stage you’ll find UK Jungle and Drum & Bass pioneer Kenny Ken and Russian-born DJ, producer and presenter DJ Vadim, who was worked with such esteemed names at The Roots, Prince, Kraftwerk and Paul Weller throughout his colourful and varied career.

Joining Ken and Vadim in the Enchanted Forest are legendary DJ Bryan Gee, rising force in the bass music scene Document One, Mr Benn, DJ Hiphoppapotamous, AAA Badboy, Ru Robinson and Waggles.

Adding even more party vibes, award winning club party providers Rumble in the Jungle will take over the Enchanted Forest stage on Friday 12th, followed by the fantastic Tropical Tea Party on Saturday 13th, easing festival goers into their day. Expect bass & plenty of it as these takeovers will be powered by an almighty Void Sound System.

Wonder Fields also offers festival fans the chance to take in some alternative entertainment, as well as some festival rest and recovery. Festival goers can try their hand at Paddle Board Yoga on the Great Fulford Lake, recuperate with a sauna and hot tubover at the Kernow Springs Spa or head to the games area for some welly wanging and human sheep herding!

There’s also fun to be had for all the family with bags of entertainment and games for little ones, details will be announced in due course but expect plenty of arty workshops, outdoors adventures and much, much more... because festivals aren’t just for grown-ups.
