Seaton Tramway: A Bird Hide on Wheels

Woodland Fun Weekend

Woodland Fun Forest School will be at Powderham Castle for a couple of days of wood craft, fire craft and lots more. Bank holiday fun at Devon’s Crealy
Monday, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park, Sidmouth Road, Exeter
Can we fix it? Yes we can! Bob the Builder enjoyed himself so much last time, he is heading back to Crealy Great Adventure Park. A real treat for every young builder, Bob appears in mini shows in the Show Dome at intervals throughout the day with Wendy and Spud, recycling rubbish and building a ship sailed by Captain Spud with a little help from their imagination. Spring Craft Fair

EXHIBITIONS

Ten out of Ten
Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Riverside Mill, Bovey Tracey
This new exhibition features mixed craft work by 10 makers who have won awards at the Contemporary Craft Festival, which celebrates its 10th birthday in Bovey Tracey this year. The Devon Guild has asked the winning makers to create something new – launch a new product or show something that they wouldn’t necessarily show on the stand. Ten out of Ten shows why they are leaders in their field and what it takes to make a winner. Exhibitors include Cleo Mussi, John Luff and Helaina Sharpley. The exhibition runs from 4 May-16 June,  open daily 10am-5.30pm, free entry.  www.crafts.org.uk

Official Turin Shroud replica
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, St Andrew’s Church, Blundell’s Avenue, Tiverton
An official replica of the Turin Shroud is on display at St Andrew’s Church, Blundell’s Avenue, Tiverton until Sunday 5 May, 2013, from 10.30am to 4.30pm daily.  The Shroud will be on loan from Pam Moon, whose sister and brother-in-law, a local Vicar, worshipped at St Andrew’s before moving to North Devon. Objects of Desire
Killerton House, Broadclyst
This fashion exhibition has some of the most luxurious vintage fashion and accessories from the 20th century and highlight the ultimate in designer and couture clothes.
