Family fun at Donkey Sanctuary’s Summer Fair

Live entertainment, fun-filled activities and international food for all the family to enjoy at The Donkey Sanctuary’s Summer Fair on Sunday 14 August from 10am – 4pm.

Come and join The Donkey Sanctuary for their most anticipated family event of the year. This year’s Summer Fair will bigger and better than ever with more stalls and activities, free admission and free parking.

Children and adults will enjoy live music from local musicians, including Anna Hamill, and entertainment from magician Dan Brazier, as well as Punch and Judy, Fire Brigade demonstrations, trailer rides, go-karting, archery and delicious food and drink. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet the Sanctuary’s friendly donkeys and to partake in activities run by the charity’s volunteers and staff.

Chris Phillips of The Donkey Sanctuary said: “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors of all ages to the biggest and most popular event in the Sanctuary’s diary. There is something for everyone with food and drink to suit all tastes, fantastic entertainment, local craft and trade stands, children’s activities, and not to forget our four-legged friends! It really is a super day out!”

The Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth is open seven days a week from 9am till dusk. It holds events and open days throughout the year and all proceeds go towards The Donkey Sanctuary’s work in the community and worldwide.
