On Sunday 17 May, from 10am to 5pm, over 350 vintage vehicles will park up in style to celebrate ‘classic car day’ in the historic parkland at Killerton, near Exeter.

‘Classic car enthusiasts travel far and wide to show off their prized vehicles at the renowned annual event in the hope of winning the coveted Killerton House Cup for the ‘best car in show’.

Visitors can also explore over 50 stalls selling jewellery, furniture, silk scarves and textiles, listen to live jazz or wander around the National Trust house, gardens and parkland.

Food lovers can enjoy a served lunch in the Killerton Kitchen restaurant or tuck into a delicious range of sweet and savoury food from special stalls. They will also have the opportunity to meet regular traders from Killerton’s monthly farmers’ market who will be selling their local produce. There will be a bar and a cider tent selling award-winning cider made on the Killerton estate.

Tim Harris, Visitor Experience Manager said: “With bags of history, Killerton is the perfect setting to park up hundreds of cars from times gone by. Along with a healthy dose of nostalgia, there will be something for everyone, so gather your friends and family to join us for a great day out”.

Tim added: “The National Trust is a charity so proceeds from this event help us fund vital conservation work here at Killerton.”
