Aquaplanet Paddle to the Moon Competition

Aquaplanet are pleased to launch the Paddle to the moon competition! The competition runs from January to June 2023, with the collective goal of travelling 384.4 million meters by the end of the mission. This sounds like a big challenge, however, if the paddleboarding community comes together it’s possible!

The competition comes with one big prize at the end of the competition, as well as monthly prizes for the paddler who has travelled the furthest during the month. There is still plenty of time to get out on the water and join the competition. Just don’t forget to stay safe,...

Freedom Food – the RSPCA’s food labelling scheme - today launches its first ever photo competition for talented amateur photographers to show off their best snaps of farm animals.

The Fab Farm Animals competition is a celebration of what makes farm animals so special. It is being run by Freedom Food in a bid to help re-connect people with where their food comes from and the importance of good welfare for farm animals.

Snap to it - time for young animal lovers to get their cameras out

The RSPCA launched its annual competition for budding young snappers to showcase their best images of animals yesterday.

The Young Photographer Awards 2013 (YPA13) welcomes all kinds of pictures from cheeky portraits of family pets to imaginative photos of wildlife and even close-ups of insects in a mix of categories open to young people under 19.

There is something exciting going on at The Hub on the Green and word is spreading. There is talk of tea cosies in school playgrounds, street corners and all over Twitter.
