Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter recently presented Honiton Carers Support Group with a cheque for £1,000 to support towards the cost of transport to enable their participants to attend the group. Honiton Carers Support Group is a warm and welcoming Carers Group which supports unpaid carers throughout their caring role and beyond. Local homebuilder Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter recently hosted its annual charity golf day, attracting more than 100 golfers who came together to support local causes. The event raised an incredible £18,125 for the homebuilder’s charity of the year.

This impressive sum was further boosted by the Barratt Foundation’s match funding, bringing the total donation to £30,125.

Hundreds of people turned out to celebrate 20 years of FORCE Cancer Charity’s Support and Information Centre.

The Centre, in the grounds of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, was a hive of activity all day as the charity welcomed patients, supporters, friends and healthcare professionals to catch up or learn about all the services FORCE offers to anyone locally affected by cancer, free of charge.

A team of intrepid fundraisers has raised more than £20,000 for FORCE Cancer Charity by completing one of the most challenging treks in Britain.

RGB Recruitment tackled the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the three highest points in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours.

This autumn marks a significant milestone in the history of FORCE Cancer Charity.

The FORCE Support and Information Centre has been welcoming local people affected by cancer for 20 years.
