Exeter Chiefs Women have launched their first-ever Exposed calendar as a bold and empowering project to celebrate the strength, confidence and positivity of female athletes and to raise money for two important causes.

The calendar, available from 11 December 2025, has been driven by the players, who wanted to mirror the success of the long-running men’s Exposed calendar while championing their own message of body positivity. It is the first of its kind in the PWR.

The local branch of charity Guide Dogs is urgently looking for new volunteers in Exeter and surrounding areas. They are in need of people to join the local fundraising group, which organises community events and collections to help raise much needed funds. The charity relies on donations to keep its vital services running and has suffered with the impact of Covid-19 putting a dent in much of their face to face activities over the summer.

Devon digital advertising agency, Launch Online, is supporting the FORCE Cancer Charity Autumn Bike Ride initiative this November, but rather than being out on the road, its staff will be pedalling their little socks off from underneath their desks.

The Exeter Chiefs Foundation has donated £10,000 to local charity Veterans With Dogs to enable it to purchase a dedicated vehicle. The fully branded van was unveiled at a launch attended by Trustees Marc Astley and Keiron Northcott from the Exeter Chiefs Foundation and Craig MacLellan, chief executive of Veterans With Dogs.

Exeter Quay photo featured in charity calendar

A photo of Exeter Quay on Christmas morning has been chosen to be included in RGB Building Supplies’ ‘Love where you live’ 2021 calendar, which will be sold to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance and Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

RGB had asked residents of the south west to send in photographs that celebrate the diverse scenery of the region, and the photo, taken by Kate Coldrick, is one of 12 entries the builders merchant picked for the calendar. H&W’s guests help raise thousands for local charities

Hall & Woodhouse (H&W), the leading independent family-owned brewer, has raised over £9,000 this summer through its charity dish initiative and Unlock’d lager campaign, in aid of local charities across the south.

The 52 pubs in H&W’s managed house estate have included a charity dish on the menu since re-opening to the public after the nationwide lockdown in July. Over £5,000 has been raised through the sale of honey-roast ham this summer, with 25p from each purchase going to the pub’s chosen charity.

86,536 meals donated to Exeter charities during Covid-19 pandemic

M&S Exeter has donated 86,535 meals through partnerships with local causes since the 1st March, helping to support vulnerable people in the local area as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.

Over the summer months visitors were drawn to Darts Farm’s vibrant yellow fields of pick-your-own sunflowers. These positive and cheerful flowers have raised a total of £6,542 for Darts Farm’s chosen local charity, Hospiscare, with a running total of £38,554.75 raised over the past 12 years.
