National charity Samaritan’s Purse has extended its thanks to the local Regus centres at Southernhay Gardens and Exeter Business Park in Exeter, for their efforts towards collecting thousands of gift-filled shoeboxes which have since been distributed to needy and vulnerable children across the world.

One of the charity’s less well-known services to clients is face-to-face sessions at its premises on Richmond Road, near the famous Clock Tower in Exeter city centre.

“These sessions are for people who need someone to listen. People can call at the door from 10.30am until 9.30pm seven days a week, with no appointment needed” explains Helen Crossfield, director of the branch.

Staff from Sanctuary Housing in Exeter have shown their charitable spirit in 2015 by raising more than £2,000 for two national charities. Employees from the leading housing provider’s Exeter office teamed up with colleagues across the South West at a series of events to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.
