Stagecoach South West has announced that it is participating in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day fundraising event on 15 December.

Staff from across Devon will be joining thousands of people around the country as they don festive jumpers and help ‘make the world better with a sweater’.

Everyone participating is asked to donate a minimum of £2 to the charity with funds raised going towards providing essential healthcare, protection, education and food to millions of children around the world.

Bob Dennison, Managing Director of Stagecoach South West said: “Wearing a fun and festive jumper is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit – especially when we’re raising money for such a good cause. Our staff can’t wait to get dressed up and, to help spread the seasonal cheer; I’m encouraging them to on wearing their jumpers right up to Christmas Eve!”

Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is fun, easy to organise and everyone can be part of it. To find out more and sign up, visit www.christmasjumperday.org
