W.Bro John Haley the worshipful master of Noontide Masonic  Lodge who are unusual in the fact that they meet in the daytime rather than in the evening at the hall in Courtland Road Paignton visited the Clic Sargent charity shop in Queen Street Newton Abbot  accompanied by his wife Ann to meet  Angie Stuart the shop manager.

The reason for their visit was to present Clic Sargent with a cheque for £342 which was raised by various raffles and drawers held throughout his year in office which culminated in a Ladies Sunday luncheon.

This is the second time W. Bro John Haley has been the Master of a lodge and on each occasion and with the support of his wife have elected to make Clic Sargent their personal charity for his year in office.

Clic Sargent is the leading charity for children and young people with cancer which includes support and guidance for their families in times of need, their specialist nurses can provide personal support tailored to a family’s needs so that they have someone to turn to when the doctor says that awful word cancer.

When receiving the cheque Angie thanked John and Ann saying how grateful they were to the masons of Noontide Lodge for their generosity and continued support of young people in need.
