Christmas fundraising at Tickety-Boo in Ottery St Mary has brought the ongoing total to more than £750 for Exeter Leukaemia Fund.

The coffee shop team donated every penny from all the mince pies sold during a week on the run up to Christmas, which was added to money donated by customers into the Elf ‘spinner’.

Tickety-Boo chef, Trystan Bridgman said: “The mince pies sold really well and were enjoyed by everyone.

“We’re really pleased to see the total rising nicely. Our customers are always very generous so it’s a big ‘thank you’ from all the team.”

Next on the fundraising calendar is ELF’s Cream Tea fundraiser in June, which Tickety-Boo will be taking part in.

“Not to be missed, it’s a chance to enjoy our baker Lesley’s famous scones,” added Trystan. “All we ask from our customers is to remember it’s cream first!”

Registered charity Elf is the leading patient-led support organisation for families affected by blood cancer in the South West, providing compassionate, tailored support from initial diagnosis and during treatment, at hospital and at home.
