Exeter Enterprise Rotary Club celebrates Maureen De Viell OBE's Presidential year

At the Club Council meeting on 11/06/13, the Club Council paid tribute to all the hard work done by President Maureen over the past twelve months.

The Rotary Club of Exeter Enterprise has completed another very successful year. At the recent Club Council, outgoing Club President, Maureen De Viell, OBE announced that during her year 2012-13, the Club had distributed an amazing £11,000 to charities and local community projects.

Maureen was especially proud of the funds raised for her own nominated charity Devon Air Ambulance Trust where she had recently presented a cheque for £1,145.00 raised at a charity Fashion Show.

On receiving a Paul Harris Fellowship award for her services to Rotary and the Exeter Enterprise Rotary Club, President Maureen praised her Club colleagues for their support and encouragement during this eventful year.

She said “everyone has fulfilled the true spirit of Rotary – to give service above self and having great fun while doing so”. She wished incoming President Claire Harvey much success for the year ahead.
