Charity Quiz to benefit two local charities

Local law firm, Gilbert Stephens LLP, is hosting a charity quiz on Thursday 18 July at Kennaway House, Sidmouth, to raise funds for two local charities –  Sidmouth Voluntary Services and FORCE Cancer Charity.

The event, organised by the law firm for the second year running, starts at 7pm and hopes to attract over 60 people and raise hundreds of pounds on the night.

Held in Kennaway House’s Cellar Bar, light refreshments will be included in the £25.00 team entry fee and the organisers are calling upon local people to get behind the fundraising event.

Alexandra Croft, event organiser and solicitor for the firm, comments: “We are really looking forward to the event and hope we can pack the premises again with local, quiz enthusiasts. We have some really fantastic prizes, including a cream tea for the winning team at Graze as well as prizes for the runners up too.”

Last year we raised around £500.00 on the night with all of the proceeds shared equally between the two worthy causes. We hope even more people will join us this year as it means we will be able to raise even more money!”
