Interserve to embark on two cycle rides in aid of ERADE

Wednesday 30th April will see approximately 40 Interserve employees embark on a 51 mile cycle ride.

Interserve, the international support services and construction group, are helping to raise vital funds for the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education by embarking on a 51 mile office to office cycle challenge. The route will start at their Plymouth office in the Royal William Yard and complete at the company’s regional head office in Exeter.

Exeter-based Mount Pleasant Health Centre has had solar panels fitted to its roof to reduce its high energy bills.

The busy medical practice opted for the system as it has extremely large energy usage. In the spirit of the centre’s continued commitment to the public, its management were naturally keen to look at ways to reduce its carbon footprint. The Centre chose local company SunGift Solar to undertake the work. One of Devon’s leading law firms is promoting high flying staff at its office in Exeter. Stephens Scown LLP has made six promotions to partner and associate level.

TALENTED artists, food producers and crafters are being invited to air their wares at a new outdoor market launched in Devon this summer.

The Local Produce Market will be held in the streets surrounding Plymouth City Market on the second Saturday of every month from May (starting May 10) to September.
