Transport and logistics business Gregory Distribution Ltd (GDL) has announced the purchase of M&D Transport, a refrigerated transport business based in Great Torrington, Devon, which operates in both the UK and mainland Europe mainly in the food and dry goods sectors.

The acquisition involves 18 tractor units and 27 trailers and around 33 M&D employees who will TUPE transfer to GDL on 1 August 2014.
