A national survey commissioned by Van Guard, a market-leading British manufacturer of commercial vehicle accessories, has revealed that 97% of van drivers who responded said they were more likely to buy a van accessory if it was manufactured in the UK. Not only that, but 92% said that buying British is somewhat or highly important to them.

Upskill struggle could be eased by online education

Employers could face an upskill struggle when recruiting for the roles available in a changing job market, set to grow by around 37% in the South West, according to CBI predictions.

The National Careers Council says over half of employers are not confident they will find sufficient recruits for jobs on offer. Growth is expected in sectors such as computer technology, tourism and healthcare, with decline anticipated in areas such as call centre, secretarial and banking employment.*

A YOUNG Exeter trainee accountant has been once again been recognised as one of the best in the South West, after coming first in his accountancy exams.
