Dash Express, a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network - the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network - has announced further expansion in the South West with the opening of a new, larger site located in Cullompton. Landlords’ confidence in the buy to let (BTL) sector has collapsed to an all-time low and is now ‘worse than levels witnessed during the financial crash’, the CEO of the UK’s largest landlord association will tell leading mortgage professionals today (2nd February 2016).

Airport celebrates best performance in six years

Exeter Airport is celebrating its best performance in six years with passenger numbers up by almost 7% to more than 800,000.

Figures just released show that the airport handled 816,379 passengers in 2015, compared to 763,902 the year before, an increase of 6.9%. The last time the airport had more than 800,000 passengers was in 2009.

Exeter Airport managing director Matt Roach said: “This is our third year of sustained growth and reflects the first full year of the daily London City service, the return of flights to Newcastle, and increased frequency to Manchester.

South West automotive sector specialist Colliers International, with joint agent Alder King, has sold a key site at the Matford Green motor dealership hub near Exeter.

The sale to Helston Garages, for an undisclosed sum, is intended for a new development to represent Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and completes the first phase of this ambitious development.
