Centrax open their doors to the Manufacturers’ Association for East Devon & Exeter

Devon engineering company, Centrax, recently opened their doors to 30 members of the Manufacturers’ Association for East Devon & Exeter (MADE) for a site tour around the power generation factory. Centrax, based in Newton Abbot, manufacture industrial power generation equipment for the global market.

Charity receives boost from cruise company

One of the region’s top wildlife charities, Devon Wildlife Trust, has been celebrating this week after receiving a £800 cash boost from Exmouth-based company Stuart Line Cruises.

The money has been raised through the generous donations of passengers on the company’s Guided Bird Watching Cruises. Dispute resolution expert Simon Bean has joined Everys Solicitors in Exeter to enhance its strong litigation team.

A former head of dispute resolution, Mr Bean joined Everys from Dyne Drewett in Somerset having previously worked at Michelmores, where he undertook and developed specialist experience in all types of employment work, debt recovery and commercial disputes, including disputes between directors, shareholders, partnership disputes, contractual issues and professional negligence claims. A leading local motors business is helping keep a South Devon animal charity on the move by sponsoring a brand new car.

Murray Volkswagen, Newton Abbot, has presented a new Volkswagen up! to Animals in Distress, where it is set to cut a dash travelling between the charity’s 13 shops in towns including Bovey Tracey, Dawlish, Brixham and the newly opened Dartmouth shop.
