New Premier Inn to open in Exmouth early 2015

Whitbread PLC is to open its brand new Premier Inn on Exmouth Seafront early in 2015.

The new property will contribute extensively to the local economy and beachfront environment whilst generating more than 30 new permanent and seasonal jobs for the residents of Exmouth. NFU disappointed with latest milk price cuts

The chairman of the NFU's dairy board has expressed disappointment following the latest round of milk price cuts.

Dairy Crest and First Milk have today announced further price drops from January 2015.

Rolle Centre development moves forward

Rolle Exmouth Limited (REL) has been awarded a grant of £99,000 by Social Investment Business (SIB) Group from the Community Ownership and Management of Assets Feasibility Fund to develop plans for the future of the Rolle Centre site.

The seven acre site remains the property of Plymouth University, but has been unoccupied since the University relocated its Faculty of Education from Exmouth to its main Plymouth Campus in 2008. Flybe links up with Hong Kong

A new airlines’ codeshare agreement will soon see passengers checking-in at Exeter for their Hong Kong destination.

Flybe, with its headquarters at Exeter Airport, has secured an agreement with the Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific allowing travellers to fly on the new four times a week direct service to Hong Kong via a seamless connection at Manchester Airport.
