National award for Francis Clark
Francis Clark has been voted ‘Top 50 Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ at the 2014 British Accountancy Awards. This award seeks to recognise the corporate finance advice that has delivered the greatest measurable benefit to clients.
The entry into the British Accountancy Awards demonstrated the team’s innovative approach, including the creation of a private company valuation database (PERDa) that is now used by HMRC, and its track record of deals, such as the high profile Axminster Carpets management-buy-out. The development of an experienced and specialist renewables team was also an important factor, with recent deals including assisting in raising funds for Plymouth Energy Communities.
Francis Clark Partner, Mark Greaves said: “We are delighted with this national recognition of our work. It is a testimony to the strength and depth of our whole team.
“We’ve doubled in size over the last four years and last year we were recognised as the fastest growing Top 50 Corporate Finance team in the UK. We have also been consistently recognised as the largest dealmaker in the South West, having built a reputation for exceeding clients’ expectations.”
Corporate Finance Partner, Andrew Killick added: “The British Accountancy Awards are the Oscars of our profession and this award is particularly important to us as it is judged on the benefits gained by our clients as a result of our advice.”
