Westcotts expands audit expertise in Exeter with appointment of new Head of Audit

Westcotts, a leading South West firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, has appointed Tim Pingree as Head of Audit in its Exeter office, further strengthening the firm’s audit and assurance expertise to support SMEs and organisations across the region.

Tim is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with nearly 20 years’ experience at Big Four firms. He has worked extensively overseas, auditing and advising clients across the developing world, most recently as an audit partner in Central Asia.

His career has seen him support a wide range of businesses, from owner-managed companies and SMEs to household-name multinational consumer brands, with sector expertise spanning industries including construction, automotive and resources.

Tim said: “I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients internationally and I am excited to bring this experience to Westcotts, supporting businesses across the South West as they work to achieve their goals. I take a very hands-on approach and I am particularly looking forward to working closely with clients in their own businesses as well as supporting the development of the Westcotts team. Outside of work, Tim is a keen tennis player and enjoys scuba diving.
