Two top London-based investors have run a seminar for independent financial advisors (IFAs) in  Exeter .

Harry Richards of Jupiter Asset Management and Fiona Harris of JP Morgan’s US equity income fund spent two days in the South West, talking to around 70 regional experts. The four events – each of which lasted two hours – were organised by wealth management company Brewin Dolphin.

“This is a critical time for the markets as shares are at an all-time high and interest rates are rising,” said Brewin Dolphin Business Development Manager Philip Thitchener. “That’s why this seminar was so important and why its timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

“Between them Harry and Fiona manage nearly three quarters of a trillion pounds in their funds, which are widely held in Brewin Dolphin portfolios of the clients of IFAs attending. The session provided an ideal opportunity to ask questions and get valuable information first-hand”, added Thitchener.

The venue for the workshop was the Sandy Park Confererence and Banqueting Hall in Exeter.
