A leading Devon law firm has promoted four high fliers in its Exeter office, while continuing to help clients navigate the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Stephens Scown LLP has made three promotions to senior associate. They are Thea Bennun from the firm’s family team, intellectual property specialist Thomas Chartres-Moore and Paula Wakeling-Basham from the real estate team.

Digital marketing specialist Sam Moles has also been promoted to digital marketing executive.

Richard Baker, Stephens Scown’s managing partner said: “One of the most rewarding parts of my job as managing partner is ensuring there are opportunities for people to develop their careers and flourish at Stephens Scown.

“Our newly promoted colleagues are all experts in their different fields, and all share a focus on delivering the very best results for their clients. They will all play a significant role in helping Stephens Scown support clients through the challenges they are facing due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although this is an unsettling time for many businesses, it is great to be able to take a moment to celebrate the achievement of these leaders of tomorrow.”

The four promotions in Exeter are part of a promotion round of 11 colleagues across Stephens Scown’s three offices in Devon and Cornwall.

Stephens Scown was the first large law firm in the UK to become employee owned. It has ranked in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For for the last six years.
