Solicitors Beviss & Beckingsale, which has offices in Honiton, Axminster, Seaton and Chard, has beaten off stiff competition to make it to the finals of the Devon & Somerset Law Society Legal Awards 2017.

A panel of judges selected Beviss & Beckingsale to go forward as a finalist in the category Law Firm of the Year (1 to 10 partners).

The awards, which were held for the first time last year, recognise the important contribution that law firms make to local communities and the economy in the two counties.

Beviss & Beckingsale is also celebrating the success of its youngest partner, Emma Northover, who has just been accepted as a registered member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists.

Emma Northover said: “Beviss & Beckingsale is ending 2016 on a high. As a firm, we are delighted to have made it to the finals of the DASLS Legal Awards. On a personal note, I am proud to now be a member of ACTAPS and to have my experience and expertise in this area recognised. At Beviss & Beckingsale, clients have access to a great local law firm with specialist knowledge.”

DASLS will announce the winners of the Legal Awards at its Annual Dinner on March 2nd 2017 at Sandy Park in Exeter.
