Recently rebranded all-female network, Ladies Do, held their greatly anticipated off-roading event on Wednesday 7 September at Land Rover Experience West Country.

Network owner and driving enthusiast, Ashley Petrons, says “Having done this experience before, I wanted to encourage fellow females to get behind the wheel and challenge themselves navigating this tough terrain. It also proves an unexpectedly good networking environment as there is a constant swap between drivers and passengers, so everyone gets to chat in a more relaxed environment than they would at a formal networking event.”

Business women from all over Devon enjoyed time behind the wheel of a Range Rover Vogue and a Discovery 4, manoeuvring their way across the challenging terrain and the deep rutted tracks that have been carved out in the woodland area behind Wessington Farm.

First time attendee, Financial Planner and Wealth Manager at Towry, Emma Falconer, reflected that it was “a great event – a really nice way to get to know each other”. Marketing Executive at BCR Associates, Katie Brook, tweeted “Thanks Ladies Do & Land Rover experience for a fab evening”.

Ladies Do will be teaming up with Exeter Cookery School in November for a Christmas canapes special. All details can be found at ladiesdo.co.uk/events
