Professionals can understand trends and issues affecting businesses in the South West and globally through masterclasses run at the University of Exeter.

Those attending the Business Insights 2020 masterclasses can network with industry experts and leading academics. The masterclasses are run by academics from the One Planet MBA at the University of Exeter’s Business School and senior business practitioners with relevant industry experience in partnership with the Devon and Cornwall Business Council (DCBC).

They are designed to help those who attend reconsider their business strategy in an increasingly complex, volatile and interconnected world.

Upcoming masterclasses will be on data analytics, opportunities in the digital economy, how to use the circular economy to do more with less and business to business marketing.

Professor Nicolas Forsans, Director of One Planet MBA, said: “The masterclasses we have run so far have been a tremendous success. They have given new ideas and inspiration to participants and have helped them make new connections. The way people communicate and participate in the economy is changing rapidly and the masterclasses help professionals prepare their businesses for the changing world around us.”

Masterclasses start at 6pm and last for up to two hours, and include networking with other business professionals. The content is connected to the MBA’s range of specialist modules, available to business professionals separately.

Sign up for the masterclasses, which cost £25 each, here, email mba@exeter.ac.uk or telephone 01392 724494.
