Exeter IT Provider Completes Microsoft 365 Migration for Concorde During Corporate Restructuring
Exeter-based IT support provider Timewade has successfully delivered a complex Microsoft 365 migration project for Concorde, supporting the business through a period of corporate restructuring and the transition to a standalone IT environment.
The project involved migrating Concorde’s domain into a brand-new Microsoft 365 tenant, enabling the organisation to operate independently as part of its corporate restructuring. Timewade planned and delivered the migration with minimal disruption, adopting a cloud-first approach aligned with modern security and management standards.
As part of the work, Timewade implemented a range of Microsoft security controls, including Conditional Access policies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), security baselines and full device management using Microsoft Intune. Following the deployment, Concorde’s Microsoft Secure Score increased to 83%, reflecting a significant improvement in its overall security posture.
To support the transition, all user devices were removed from the sister company’s domain controller. Windows Autopilot was used to streamline the rebuilding and onboarding of machines, helping to reduce downtime and ensure a smoother experience for users during the changeover.
In parallel, Timewade migrated remaining on-site workloads into Microsoft 365, moving data and collaboration tools into SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the wider Microsoft 365 platform. This enabled Concorde to retire legacy on-premise infrastructure and operate fully within a cloud-based environment.
The project was delivered end-to-end by Timewade’s technical team, providing Concorde with a secure, scalable IT platform designed to support future growth and ongoing operational requirements.
