An Exeter based PR company has been shortlisted for two top industry awards.

PR, Marketing and Design agency Astley Media has been shortlisted in two categories at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards 2019.

Astley Media’s work with client Space, on the ‘Future of the Workplace’ campaign, resulted in the agency being shortlisted in two categories - ‘Corporate and Business Comms Campaign’  ‘Low Budget Campaign’. The award nominated campaign enabled Space, the office transformation experts, to build business relationships across Greater Exeter, driving lead generation.

The multi-channel ‘Future of the Workplace’ campaign encourages business leaders to consider how their staff are working now, and how this will change in the future. The campaign involved a launch event and survey regarding current and future working practises under four key themes: ‘my workplace’, ‘how we work’, ‘our people’, and ‘technology’. Results from the survey informed the insightful Future of the Workplace report. The highlight of the campaign was the launch of the 2nd Space Awards, which recognises and celebrates the best workplaces in and around Exeter.

Based at Northernhay Place in Exeter, Astley Media boasts clients from across the South West and the UK including Stagecoach, Timewade, Plymouth Science Park and a range of professional service organisations and technology companies. Astley Media previously won the CIPR Gold award for ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the Year 2017’, as well as other Gold and Silver awards in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

Dan Pritchard, Managing Director at Astley Media, said: “Being shortlisted is a fantastic acknowledgement, from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, of the high standards we set ourselves and the work we do on behalf of our clients.

“In a world of rapid change, with new technology and opportunities emerging, it’s an exciting time to be working with brands across a range of key sectors, including technology, consumer goods, professional services and transport. The team are a bunch of courageous creatives, who love to laugh, care a lot and enjoy making a difference for each of our clients and we are all delighted to have been shortlisted.”

The shortlists are selected by a judging panel of UK industry experts, the winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony in Bristol on Friday 8 November.
