Innovative local digital startup Krowdthink and thebestof Exeter are partnering to make the networking opportunity at the Devon Business Expo a fantastically enhanced digital experience for exhibitors and delegates.

The Krowd app is a new form of social network service for connecting people in places. It helps users discover more people with shared interests in a crowd and connect with them. In addition it provides a location-based instant-on locally connected chat forum, so exhibitors and delegates can engage in a digital discussion about what’s happening right here, right now.

“Krowdthink sees location as the untapped element of online social networking. To unlock that potential we have developed co-location technology so that users can engage locally without disclosing location.” said Geoff Revill, one of the Founders of Krowdthink Ltd.

“We seek to enable private digital conversations in localities in a trustworthy social networking service. We very much appreciate thebestof Exeter’s support and promotion of our Krowd app and their belief in our new online engagement model.”

“The Krowd is a wonderful new way to enhance business networking at events.” Said Dave Barr, Managing Director, thebestof Exeter. “We are always seeking ways to add innovative digital value for our exhibition delegates and we are proud to be the first exhibition to promote the use of the Krowd.”

Every exhibitor and delegate to the event can download the Krowd app for free on Apple or Android smartphones. The app will auto-connect everyone at the Devon Business Expo into a local Krowd, so if you can see someone in the Krowd, you know they are at the event.

About Krowdthink
Krowdthink Ltd is pioneering trustworthy local engagement for the mobile sector by setting the standards by which to operate and build location-based services.
There is no more revealing and therefore more important data to protect for our mobile privacy than our location and movement. Krowdthink seeks to move the debate on from how to manage privacy to one in which we debate how to empower users with control in their online environment.
Krowdthink is building upon the democratizing power of Wi-Fi to empower users and location owners with control of who can engage in their localities.
