Work to replace traffic signals at a busy junction in Exeter will get underway on Monday 31 July.

Essential maintenance is needed on the signals at the junction of Blackboy Road/Polsloe Road/Pinhoe Road and Mount Pleasant Road in Exeter.

The traffic signals, poles and electrics are at the end of their serviceable lives and will be replaced, while repairs will also be carried out to cable ducting.

As much of the scheme as possible will be carried out using the existing permanent lights but to enable the completion of the scheme, temporary signals will be in place from Thursday 17 August while the main replacement work is carried out.

The scheme is scheduled to be completed on Friday 1 September.
