Police appeal for witnesses to A38 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision that left one man in hospital with injuries.

Police were called at 10.30am on Thursday 20 October after reports of a two-vehicle collision having occurred on the A38 Southbound at Kennford, near Exeter.

Both North and Southbound carriageways were closed to facilitate the landing of the Air Ambulance. Northbound was opened shortly afterwards as was lane one, Southbound.

A 54-year-old man from Cullompton was taken to Derriford Hospital where he has since been released.

Police are appealing for witnesses who can help with their enquiries, in particular, the driver of a red Audi A4 or A5 Saloon which stopped at the scene.
