Three men have been arrested and drugs and cash seized following a warrant being executed at an address in Exeter.

On Monday the 10th of October, officers from the neighbourhood policing team and drug enforcement officers executed a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address in Longbrooke Terrace, Exeter.

Three men aged 21, 19, and 18, all from London were arrested.

Detective Sergeant Alan Barnsley said: “A significant amount of heroin and crack cocaine was seized, predominately from inside the bodies of the men arrested. A large amount of cash and multiple mobile phones were also seized; we believe that the cash and drugs are worth in the region of £15,000.

“The majority of the heroin and crack cocaine supply in our area is controlled by organised crime groups that originate from London, Liverpool and Manchester.

“These people will often conceal drugs inside their bodies in order to frustrate law enforcement agencies. This result sends out a clear message to all that Exeter is not a safe place for drug dealers to operate and you will be caught.”

All three me have been released on bail pending further enquiries, until the 3rd of January 2017.
