Flood alert for Devon rivers
The Environment Agency today urged Devon residents to be prepared for potential flooding.
A number of alerts are in place across the county including on the rivers Axe, Exe and Otter
The weekend rain has combined with snow melt caused by warmer temperatures causing rivers to rise steadily.
Low lying land and roads are expected to flood and owners of vulnerable properties should take action to protect themselves and property.
