Family Favourite Awards celebrate family life in Exeter
Exeter Baby Activities has announced the launch of the first Family Favourite Awards to find the businesses and individuals who work to create a vibrant and exciting city for local and visiting families.
The Awards celebrate the vital contribution made by local businesses and volunteers to support the families that live in and visit Exeter.
This year nominees and applicants will compete in seven categories and be adjudicated by a panel of judges.
Arabella Greatorex, editor of Exeter Baby Activities said of the launch, “Exeter is our city of choice for raising our families. We want to recognise the amazing contribution of local businesses and volunteers who work to create a vibrant and energetic city that provides a family life surpassing other cities.”
“In particular, I am delighted to introduce the Shining Star Family Community Builder Award to celebrate the person who has gone above and beyond in making Exeter a fantastic place in which to raise a family.”
Family Friendly Awards Schedule
The pre-launch will take place on 24th February with nominations opening at 9am on Friday 10th March 2017. Nominations will close at 5pm on Friday 21st April, after which the judging panel will adjudicate all entries before announcing the 4 finalists in each category.
The finalists will have an opportunity to make representations of their own before final judging and the announcement of the winners on 19th May.
