Exminster Victory hall has been announced as a finalist in RGB Building Supplies’ Well-Built Community Fund.

It is now down to the public to vote, and the winner will receive £1000 worth of building materials.

The hall was opened in 1921 to commemorate the end of world war one, and winning the community fund would give Exminster hall the chance to fix the facility.

Exminster is currently up against Combe Martin based The Natural Approach Group and Whole Again Communities in Penzance.

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter said: “Giving the public the opportunity to choose the recipient of our Well Built Community Fund is something very new for us and we would like to encourage people in the local area to get involved and support Exminster Victory Hall.”

Voting will take place between Friday 15th July and midnight on Thursday 28th July 2016.

You can vote by visiting the Exeter RGB branch and placing a voting chip in the relevant box, by visiting RGB’s Facebook page or by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk and putting the name of the group in the subject line.

Votes cast outside of these dates will not be counted and votes can only be made at the Exeter branch during normal opening hours. Only one email vote per email address will be counted.
