Everys’ bakers support Exeter vulnerable

Everys Solicitors took part in The Great Legal Bake 2016 to help provide free legal advice to vulnerable people.

Legal experts at the firm’s Exeter headquarters brought in their homemade cakes and biscuits to sell to their colleagues.

The event, organised by The South West Legal Support Trust, aims to give vulnerable people access to justice, including elderly people who need support to remain living independently, families living in poor housing conditions and people who are working for less than the minimum wage.

Charted legal executive Sally Alexander said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support, both the bakers and the eaters, as well as some who both baked and ate! We discovered some real star bakers and we were very pleased with the £96.30 we raised.”
