Shoppers are being given an early Christmas present by the City Council – a great parking offer!

Customers will be able to double the length of their stay in the Council’s Pay & Display car parks when arriving after 10.00am on Wednesdays in December.

The length of stay indicated on the purchased ticket will be doubled by officers undertaking enforcement patrols.

Councillor Rosie Denham, Lead Councillor for Economy & Culture said: “The aim is to encourage people to spend longer enjoying what Exeter has to offer and to encourage people to come into the city on a day that is generally less busy.”

The offer extends to all City Council Pay & Display car parks but customers should note that both Bartholomew Terrace and Richmond Road revert to residents parking only at 6pm.

Pay on Exit car parks at Guildhall, Mary Arches Street and John Lewis, are not included in this offer and will operate the usual charging scheme.
