Cartridges Law are sponsoring Bowhill Running Club which was set up in April 2015 to provide a running group that would help get parents active, this was supported by Exeter City Football Club and Active Devon.

They started with a beginners group and used the couch to 5k programme for their members, the aim was to get as many of the parents together as possible to support each other to becoming more active.

There are currently 15 runners who are made up of parents at the local schools and others in the local community. They meet every Tuesday at 9.15am (term time only) at Bowhill Primary School Canteen. Anyone is welcome and there is no cost so if you fancy getting a bit more Active in a supportive environment why not give the Bowhill Running Group a try.

The runners have said that it was hard to begin with but now they look forward to coming, some have really noticed the benefits feeling much fitter, others come to enjoy catching up with new friends they have now made.

“Cartridges Law sponsorship has meant we can train 2 of our parents to be leaders in fitness and running - allowing us to continue the running club at no cost to our members”.

Kim, Sammie and Maria have been LIRF trained which was funded by Cartridges' sponsorship

Look out for them out running Tuesday mornings and give them a wave!
