For its next Well Built Community Fund, RGB Building Supplies is inviting groups, schools and charities to get in contact with details of environmental projects for the chance to receive £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch.

Whether a community group is looking to create an eco-friendly space, a school would like to add a green area to teach pupils about the importance of protecting the environment, or a charity would like materials to help protect an open space in the local area, RGB wants to hear about it.

From all the nominations received, three finalists will be chosen where there will be a public vote to decide who will receive the £1,000 donation.

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter, commented: “With the battle against plastic pollution having been a top news story throughout the year, more people than ever are aware of the need to protect our environment. Therefore, for our next Community Fund, we want to hear from groups who need help to change their local area for the better.”

To apply, groups simply need to contact RGB explaining how £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch would be of benefit to them. Nominations can be made by email to RGB@pmwcom.co.uk or by post to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Sunday 25th November.

Further information and Terms & Conditions can be found by visiting RGB Building Supplies’ website, www.rgbltd.co.uk.
