Through its Well Built Community Fund, RGB Building Supplies is continuing its support of different groups in the region by donating £1,000 worth of building materials every other month.

So far in 2016 groups that support those with a disability, an outdoor project, a heritage scheme and a community centre have been beneficiaries, but now it’s time for amateur dramatic groups to tell the builders merchant how a donation of materials could help.

Whether a group needs help with a stage backdrop, or would like to update the facilities where they rehearse or put on a performance, RGB would like to hear from them.

Keith Harris, Product and Marketing Manager at RGB Building Supplies, commented: “As RGB has been operating in the South West for over 160 years, the Well Built Community Fund is our way of giving something back.  From all the nominations we receive from amateur dramatic groups, we will narrow it down to three and then ask the local community to vote for the group they think deserves to receive the £1,000 worth of materials.”

Groups can nominate themselves by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk explaining what they would use the materials for.  Nominations can also be made by sending a letter to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Sunday 28th August.

In 2016, RGB’s Well Built Community Fund will also be helping schools that support children with additional needs, the scouting movement and libraries.
