Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (10th August 2018) confirmed the continuation for 2019 Summer of its four summer sun routes from Exeter Airport with multi-frequency weekly services to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca. This is in addition to four flights a week to Norwich.

These will become available for booking from Thursday 16th August, 2018.

These routes will operate for the entire period of the summer schedule between 31st March and Saturday 26th October 2019 but are currently only available for travel through to 16th June 2019.

In total, Flybe’s Summer programme from Exeter features 18 routes with a total choice of up to 89 flights a week across the UK and regional mainland Europe. Those routes already on sale include its popular daily flights to London City, and three times a day service to its Manchester hub which gives plenty of opportunities for convenient onward connections.

Highlights of Flybe’s 2019 Summer routes from Exeter include:

Amsterdam (daily)
Dublin (daily)
Alicante (Tues/Wed/Fri/Sun)
Faro (Wed/Sat)
Malaga (Mon/Thur)

Connections are the name of the game for Flybe. Apart from the many connections via Flybe’s own services available from its Manchester hub, and through the main international airport hubs into which it operates, seamless onward travel to a large selection of global destinations is available through Flybe’s many airline partners when booked direct with the relevant airline or through a local travel agent. Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer comments: “Our 2019 Summer programme to and from Exeter offers an extensive range of travel options including frequent flights to top summer sun destinations direct from their local airport, together with a large choice of business travel services.

“We look forward to welcoming many new customers on board next summer and hope that by putting these flights on sale now it will allow them the opportunity to plan their next summer travel early to take advantage of the lowest possible fares.”

Exeter Airport’s Managing Director, Matt Roach said: “Flybe’s commitment to these routes, which have operated year-round for the past few seasons, is great news. With seats going on sale this coming Thursday, our South West passengers can book flights for next summer to Spain and Portugal and enjoy the convenience of departing from their local airport.”
