Hat Trick of awards for The Grapevine Brewhouse

Summer brings award success to the shores of Exmouth with the Grapevine Brewhouse, on site brewery Crossed Anchors and resident Ruby Kitchen all winning regional awards.

At the Taste of the West Awards Crossed Anchors won four GOLD product awards for their craft beers. Paddy O’Riordan said “ We are over the moon with these awards, it’s our first year of mainstream production and to win four such important awards is a huge endorsement of our beer, its great news for the brewery and also for Exmouth”

Ruby Kitchen, in residence at the Grapevine, also won a Taste of the West Gold award, adding to their 4 other Taste of the West awards won during their time in Exeter. Rob Grimes, Head Chef said “I’m so proud of the team who work hard everyday to serve the best burgers in Exmouth. Huge thanks to our suppliers who ensure we always have the freshest regional produce. This is has been a fantastic start to our residency at the Grapevine.”

Finally at the Exmouth Journal Awards the Grapevine Brewhouse beat over 50 pubs, bars and restaurants to win the Best Pub award. Ollie Bainbridge, owner of the Grapevine said “This is tremendously important for us. For 5 years the team has worked their socks off to give Exmouth a neighbourhood pub that caters for everyone. Every week we host a quiz and  live music, we offer an early bird discount every week day and hold regular international beer festivals. I am absolutely delighted and very proud of this and our other award successes.
