Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin’s South West offices (Exeter, Plymouth and Truro) have been busy organising and taking part in various fundraising challenges for their chosen charity, Exeter-based Farms for City Children, and have raised £10,000 since January 2020.
Their latest endeavour was the Brewin Dolphin 7-Day Challenge, which saw members from the respective offices walk, run or cycle 655 miles collectively over seven days, raising over £1,000 for Farms for City Children.
Tim Walker, head of office for Southwest, Brewin Dolphin, said: “It has been fantastic for us to work together to support this wonderful charity. Giving children the confidence building experiences they offer has never been more important.
“It also seemed appropriate that our 7-day challenge gave our team an opportunity to connect with nature as we completed our miles”.
Farms for City Children is a charity enabling children from disadvantaged communities to experience the adventure of working together on one of three farms in the heart of the British countryside. For more information, visit: farmsforcitychildren.org
